Cooperation on the Arenas for several players There is a new item in the rules of the server: We have always hoped that you can play fairley. Unfortunately, some of you just cannot do that. So, the Administration has made a decision to set punishments for cooperation on the arena. That is how it will work: We won’t be watching your entries to the arena and check every fight there, this will be made selectively. So, if you notice cooperation against you there is no need to shout that Administration hasn’t set the punishment for abusers if you didn’t provide any evidence. If you want your offenders to be punished and so you could go to the arena calmly you must do the following: -make a video (the program for filming must be set in advance); -in the background in the video you must open the search by region so there will be participants; -maximize the chat with the fight information (it must also be set correctly); -do not stop filming right after the end of the arena, wait several minutes more; -write date and time when the video was made. The video will help us to define the nicknames of the abusers checking the data and set an appropriate punishment: -ban of the character or of the whole account of the abuser for 1 or more days (according to the Administration's decision upon an exact case); -cut of some AP or GP/ reduction of AP or GP to zero; -removing of obtained items. Possible errors and their solutions The most frequent errors and their solution can be found in the previous topic, read it before this one. Before you start looking for your problem, do the following: 1.DirectX. A sufficient version of the program can be downloaded from the official website . 2.2.Microsoft Visual C++ . Download and install components from here 3.Download and install .NET Framework . 4.Check the game client with launcher or torrent. Errors and solutions: "CrySystem.dll Loading Failed" (and other .dll files) Solution: update DirectX to 9.0c+ version. "AionClient has stopped working" (Win7, 32-bit, aion.bin crash) Solution: update DirectX "AionClient - Has stopped working/a problem caused program to stop working correctly" with SendLogClient window Solution: 1.install DirectX with the latest updates 2.install the latest updates for video card "Critical error: error loading DLL: Game.dll. error code 14001" or "Runtime Error!" Solution: update Microsoft Visual C++ “No game server is available to the authorization server” or “Cannot connect to the authorization server” Solution: 1.Delete the folder bin32 and update the client via launcher or torrent. 2.It is possible that you are using extra routers to access to the Internet, or active firewall blocks aion.bin processes or its ports. "Critical error: error loading DLL: Game.dll error code 193” Solution: delete Game.dll in /bin32 folder and update the client. “Aion.bin not found” Solution: Update the game with launcher/ delete bin32 and update the client. “x:\Document and Settings\Admin\Local Settings\Temp\~.tmp” not found Solution: the best way is to reinstall Windows. "This program is unavailable in your country" or "1024"/"Failed to initialize the game" Solution: delete l10n folder, and update the client. The game is in Korean or crashes after NCSOFT screen. Solution: 1.delete l10n folder, and update the client. 2.reinstall/install English patch. “Aion [1023] Failed to set the graphic acceleration preferences” Solution: install the latest drivers on the video card. "Error: _version.ini not found" Solution: update the game Error opening .bin file Solution: add aion.bin to the exceptions of your anti-virus program. No error, the game doesn’t start Solution: 1.Make sure that your processor supports SSE2. 2.Run the game as an Administrator. Black screen with sound on the logging in stage Solution: start menu -> run -> regedit -> ok, then in the branch HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Aion\Client\ find SystemInfo and delete it.

Before you start looking for your problem check the following: 1.DirectX. A sufficient version of the program can be downloaded from the official website . Open the file and choose any folder where the file will be unpacked. Then go to the folder and open the installing file .exe, it will install the program if necessary. 2.Microsoft Visual C++ . Download and install components from here 3.Download and install .NET Framework . 4.Check the game client with launcher or torrent. If you cannot use torrent to download the client, get it the other way. Launcher won’t download files without torrent as well. Here is the link for the game client of our server. If you get the following errors: Install DirectX. A sufficient version of the program can be downloaded from the official website . Open the file and choose any folder the files will be unpacked into. Then go to the folder and open the installing file .exe, it will install the program if necessary. Red textures with “Replace me” Check the whole client with our launcher or with torrent. Launcher error “insufficient disk space” and “Access is denied” Right-click on GoldAion folder and remove "Read only" attribute, click “apply” (choose then “Apply to all the files and folders in the folder”). Run the launcher. Status: Downloading... (speed 0Mb/s) First of all, wait for 10 min. If the downloading doesn’t start do the following: -make sure that torrent is not blocked for you. If it is so, download the client from here . -make sure that your anti-virus program/firewall hasn’t blocked connection (at the first launch on PC there is usually a permission request for connection. If you have blocked it, it won’t work). Possible problem - active anti-virus Add the game folder in the exceptions of anti-virus program. Attention! There are some kinds of anti-viruses which are still blocking the connection, even if you add files in the exceptions or close the anti-virus completely. They are Comodo (100%) and 360 Total Security. In this case, the only solution is to delete them from your PC. Sql.Launcher has stopped working -Download and install .NET framework and reboot your computer. -Make sure that anti-virus program doesn’t block the launcher. The best way will be to temporarily turn off the anti-virus and to try to start the launcher again. If you still cannot run the launcher: -Download the alternative launcher and put it in the game folder. -Download this file and put it in the folder bin32 in the game folder. Then right-click on the file > properties > “unblock” > apply. If you have already entered the game with launcher before, you should start the game with StartGoldAion.exe. If you have NOT entered the game with launcher before, you will have to manually apply localization files (interface language): 1.Open game folder 2.Go to L10n 3.Find the file en.loc 4.Rename en.loc into en.zip 5.After this the file becomes a zip folder. Now you should open it and drag the inner files into L10n folder. After finishing this you can run the game with StartGoldAion.exe. Error “No game server is available to the authorization server” If you are using launcher to enter the game, try to turn off your anti-virus program. Every time entering the game the graphic setting are disrupted or the input boxes/game buttons are shifted to sides so are impossible to click on Close the game, launcher, turn off torrent. Find and delete the files SystemOptionGraphics.cfg and system.cfg in the game folder. If you have not found your problem here, check the other topic.

Principle rules of GoldAion. The following rules are not exhaustive. The Administration and GMs are entitled to set any other punishment, which would be fair, or to free from the penalty if it is necessary. In the case of an action that is clearly damaging game organisation and/or game process, but is not mentioned in the following rules, the Administration is entitled to set any appropriate punishment (up to the account deletion). If necessary, the Administration has a right to set permanent termination (ban) for all the accounts of the player who has violated the rules. In case of the repeated violation of the same rule it is up to the Administration and GMs to decide the prolongation of the punishment. In this case the Administration has the right both to prolong the punishment on any term and to delete the account of the player. Users are prohibited: 1.to publish, in the game or on the forum, in oral or written form, impermissible information and statements, including the information that is illegal, destructive, rude, vulgar, containing threats and offences, expressing hatred, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, as well as to use such information alternatively or in an inappropriate way in order to get around mentioned restrictions. Punishment: chat mute for 60-600 min / temporary or permanent ban of all accounts; 2.to use profanity and offences on other players, on their parents or on people close to them. Punishment: chat mute for 60-900 min / forum account ban for 3 days / temporary or permanent ban of all accounts; 3.to behave in a way negatively influencing on the chat dialogues including the overuse of game actions and emotions, advertising budget quotations and/or advertising products and services beyond world of Aion. Punishment: chat mute for 60-300 min / temporary or permanent ban of all accounts; 4.To make attempts of getting unauthorized access to accounts. Punishment: permanent ban of all hacker’s accounts and of all those giving him/her their accounts in terms of their possible engagement; 5.to use of programs modifying game client and giving advantages in the game. Punishment: permanent ban of all player’s accounts and of all those giving him/her their accounts in terms of their possible engagement; 6.to use game bugs or server cracks intentionally. Punishment: temporary or permanent ban of all player’s accounts and of all those giving him/her their accounts in terms of their possible engagement; 7.to give offencive or obscene names to characters, legions and pets. This includes the usage of such words incorrectly or in an alternative way of writing in order to get around mentioned restrictions. Punishment may vary from the enforced renaming up to the permanent ban of all player’s accounts and of all those giving him/her their accounts in terms of their possible engagement; 8.to misrepresent themselves as the Administration (including Technical support, GMs and Moderators), or as their representatives. Punishment: permanent ban of all player’s accounts and of all those giving him/her their accounts in terms of their possible engagement; 9.to kill trade. Punishment: cutback of Abyss Points / full removal of Abyss Points / account ban / removal or earned items; 10.to abuse the Administration and treat it inadequately (including Technical support staff, GMs and Moderators). Punishment: chat mute for 30-600 min / temporary or permanent ban; 11.to advertise any off-side resource and to link them without preapproval of the Administration. Punishment may vary from the temporary up to the permanent ban of all player’s accounts and of all those giving him/her their accounts in terms of their possible engagement; 12.to sell/buy ingame currency (kinah) / game items beyond inner service (Trade Brokers) / to sale/exchange/buy game accounts and characters. Punishment: permanent ban of all player’s accounts; 13.to evade the ban on publication on forum: do not create new accounts on the forum if banned. Punishment: ban of game accounts; 14.to give misleading information about the Administration and/or about players (libel) and to spread personal conversations with the Administration (including GMs, HGMs and moderators) in any form, without preapproval. Punishment may vary from the temporary up to the permanent ban of all player’s accounts; 15.to criticise or appeal the punishment set by a Moderator, GM, HGM or Administrator without presenting evidence eliminating it. Punishment: ban of game accounts/ ban of forum account. If the cause of the punishment is not stated, then the player may create a topic in the special section of the forum in order to find out the cause; 16.to perform acts demonstrating racism, nativism and any other actions of this kind. Punishment: chat mute / ban of the character / temporary or permanent ban of the account/all accounts of the player on the server. 17.to cooperate with other players in order to get benefits and to win on the mass arenas. Punishment: ban of the character or of the whole account of the abuser for 1 or more days (according to the Administration's decision upon an exact case) / cut of some AP or GP/reduction of AP or GP to zero / removing of obtained items.
